I said that I would run naked through Westwood Cross if Finland wins. Its a good song personally, but I strongly doubt itll be voted winner. I say the bets still on as far as Im concerned. Thanks for trying to save my skin (excuse the pun), but I still think a different country will win, and Ill take the risk. They did perform rather well and my TV was turned up very high, hopefully, not too well though...

Now having heard them again on tv I must admit the two polished performances WERE by Sweden & Greece.Russia performed well too as did Ukraine. U.K.did a better job on their number than I had heard before.Its all about songs growing on you I suppose.SWEDEN is my adjusted winner.Votes not made yet! Lost my dough methinks!

Well that was a cracking evening I thought.

Laughs & jokes galore.Incredible results again. Usual political voting.Songs nowadays dont even come into it anymore.They are going to rename the contest "the eurovision costume contest".

Still its all been a bit of fun & thats how to take it all.It filled a void in our footballing calendar & many out there took this thread in the way it should have been taken. As a giggle!

I lost a few quid (whats new),3 streaks offered,(two of them have suddenly gone quiet).Terry wogan guaranteeing the word "amazing" coming out & getting it right.Lots of effort by the winners and I suppose for their effort they deserved something. Looking forward to next years amusement with relish.Thanks to everyone who took part in this thread.(& to those that darent but watched the show anyway).Hope everyone enjoyed it all.Dont hold your breaths on the streaks! I doubt they will happen.L.O.L.

Oh man, am I screwed! I wont be at Westwood Cross at noon Saturday (I hate you cookie...this is your fault!) as Im working all day (thank God).

 

Im completely stumped for words. Im up for some fun but lets not forget, I have bigger ambitions than embarrassment as a Margate fan...what about we organise something during the World Cup? Ill do something for fun, as I was completely and utterly wrong about my prediction. Ill do anything bar this...Im begging. Im sure Keith Piper will have some ideas!
