Why will Pearce be a good manager? What has he done? Do we want another scream, shout and wear your heart on your sleeve manager? I like him but see in 5 years what he's done at Man City.

Do we want to play like Boltan, Boro or Charlton? NO so why were these clubs managers short listed?

Because they are English? Whats all that crap about? We want the best regardless where they are from! And why O'Neil!!!

I think Sven is not that good. But look at his record. Its only bettered by Sir Alf! And because all this there is a crazy outcry that the manager has to be English. Thats b*ll*cks!

We should have got Hiddink. The guys class. I don't know if Scolari or Capello would have suited us. But he was next up there. But a few men who were never mentioned but are fantastic coaches - Paul Le Guen and Louis Van Gaal.

Bring back Venables! The guy is still the best we could have had. Or Cloughy!

C'mon fellas, I'm not too keen on the bloke but what harm can he do?

If he doesn't qualify for the next euro's he's out, but if he does then we have as good a chance as any!!!

No one is seriously expecting us to win anything (are they?) so getting to knockout stages is about as good as we could have expected from anyone - yes, even scolari.

Truth is we just don't have the players, I don't mean to knock what we have but look at the situation, rooney & owen are injured and the whole country goes into a frenzied football spasm.

The main reason for this is that our first eleven ain't too shabby, but there is no backup.

Look at the contenders (germany aside), they produce world class talent in abundance, generation after generation.

The england managers job is the top of the tree, maybe it's the roots that we need to worry about?
