While queuing at the newsagent for my copy of "Caravanning in Dorset: May 2006", my eye was attracted to the St Albans Observer.

 

A couple of quotes from Paul Bastock and Lee Clarke concerning their awards as Supporters' and Players' Player of the Season respectively. Good stuff. Apparently, the Boston United Supporters Club have arranged a coach to come to Stevenage on Sunday to support the Legend. How cool is that. Paul's nine year old son is to be the Saints' mascot for the day.

 

Colin Lippiatt described the match on Sunday as "the biggest in the club's history", and yes, I confess that the comment brought a small smile to my face. It's a football thing. A little like omitting the words "In the" at the start of any sentence which continues 'first half' or 'second half'. And 'taking the positives'. Memories. Still, after the last 16 months, I forgive him anything. Colin continues, making reference to Ben Walshe who is rated as 80:20 to make the squad.
