Gutted but what can you do?

Monday was a horrible way to end a season. I think Town went the last 12 games unbeaten but home form was not really good enough.

Still thought that Town had some really good players and played some great football at times.Recently the first half hour at Chatham and the 2nd half v Stamford stick out in my mind.

As i said horrible way to end the season. But what can ordinary supporters do.

Personally id like to help in someway to raise funds for ground improvements etc.

I think there is a lack of atmosphere at times when Town are kicking towards the Station end...

I think it would be good to start a general appeal for ground improvements.

I know the club raised a fair bit with seat sponsors etc but after 5 years with such good support i think a fair bit more could be raised.

Yes im an Optimist but im also a fundraiser and think the fan base provides a great way of attracting more funds to the club?

PS I know a lot of people who are far bigger supporters of the club than me do put in a lot of time and effort. This isnt intended as a criticism of their efforts but mabe more people need to get involved?

Extra hands are always welcomed on a Sunday morning, from 10:00am for a couple of hours.

I understand that a number of those directly involved in fund raising are meeting at the Holly Bush on Thursday next week to talk through a few thoughts and would welcome anybody along with ideas. From 19:30.

mark. southports right about that. I've been going to the town since the very start, probably on average 10-12 games home and away a season, until this season when I#ve been to a lot more, only in the last few months have I moved behind the goal, cos it looked like a laugh, and they have all made me feel welcome.
