YEEEEESSSSS!!!!!

I'm shattered, voice has packed in. It was a great night, the boys done well!!

I'm glad we've made a few Ryman Premier Accountants happy for next year, we did the league proud!

Remember Delboy within that 12 is a charistmatic, charming and nice as pie Fish Fan Joe. Surely you would rather have me frequenting New Lodge than 1200 Wombles,Surely?!...;-)

I've had one too many, bedtime...

Being the curious soul, does the play off final usually get a lot of neutrals turning up? As its our first year in the division does other sides treat it as an event regardless of who's playing and like to see a game with so much at stake for the teams involved?

Just wondering, I think the board knows me well enough by now that I have no hidden agenda and do not mean to rub salt in the Ricays playoff aspirations...

No problem Sean, Tim is our PR lad although only till Sunday (resigned) so be quick.

Private message shortly on its way.

I wasn't at the game on Saturday, I was out of the country last week. Although I'm very aware of the issue's as my fellow fans were never backward in coming forward.

From what I hear the Fish were very disapointed with the conduct of 'some' of the Chelmsford fans.

Although we can discuss further on the private message and onward with Tim.

Are you referring to this:

"It is just a shame that the travelling supporters had issues with their management which soured the atmosphere in a manner that didn't sit nicely with the spirit of non-league football. At times the travelling 'supporters' overstepped the boundary of decency into the realms of the offensive."

I wasn't there so I can not comment with any conviction. Other fans have informed me however that Fisher players were abused beyond the boundary that is acceptable. Not racist but the C word was used on more than one occasion. Some people find that more acceptable than others but we're a family orientated club and I know there were many kids with their Mum's and Dads at the game as it was a nothing fixture and a nice day out for all.

Also one fan 'I've been told' attempted property damage with our fenceing. This isn't acceptable at our level. This is non league for god sake.

Biggest load of crap ive heard. One of our fans was standing on a barrier, banging on a fence. The fence in question was very sturdy and in no way was the fan in question attempting to break it. Just trying to make some noise. I didnt see any signs saying "do not stand on the barrier" nor did any steward tell him to get down. I also find the accusations of bad language rather amusing simply due to the fact that Fisher fans were no angels in this respect.

Yeah well maybe whats acceptable in Chelmsford isn't acceptable elsewhere.

Some of your fans have upset a lot of Fisher supporters Elliot. The fans I spoke to were extremely adament on Saturday's events. We've had 20 other teams visit Champion Hill and never a mumour so who should I believe....

I don't have a problem with Chelmsford and the sides have very little history or hostility to one another but something went wrong on Saturday....

If its the group of blokes i think your talking about i think pot kettle black springs to mind. Im not saying that City fans were behaving to a standard that you might find acceptable but i also find it strange that Fisher fans complained about bad language but from what i heard were far from angels in this respect. A fellow City fan got told to shove (the Fisher fans middle finger) up his ******* ***** you ****.

Did the sign say "No social standing" <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Are you seriously trying to convince us that this kind of behaviour IS acceptable Elliot, and it was the fault of Fisher for NOT putting up a sign.

It was far from unacceptable TC. A harmless bloke standing on a barrier banging a fence that he could no way break. It was a perfect platform to stand on and IMO there should have been signs up if they didnt want people standing up there.
