Pre season friendlies

Recommended Posts

i noticed on some other sites that teams have aready got a few pre season friendlies booked, how long til towners start to sort out there's.

Also i think it would be nice for the fans to get a bigger friendly in the shape of spurs or arsenal(i know it will mainly consist of reserve players)or some other priemiership or league side, with this attraction it may bring some new and extra fans to brimmo.

This would be a lot more appealing than the regular hendon & harrow friendlies that we seem to manage to have.

How about a freindly against AFC Wimbledon? On the subject of AFCW, whatever happened to the Supporters Direct Cup? This could be a really good competition now with so many Supporters' Trust teams.

It seems this was last played for between Wimbledon and The United ( Man U ) Clubs last July with over 3000 there.

Great idea to get in on the act.
Could be a mini tournament lasting most of the day - say 30 mins each way or something.

A sure money spinner and good publicity.

I would also like to visit some of the clubs that we played in the past and enjoyed so how about a trip to APSA ? this would also let a few of the fringe players get a longer run out and a truer idea of their ability.

Would be a good larf to have a friendly against Burnham. Let's get some banter going with Smallsy and Trenks!

We would play you chaps but we need a tougher test- don't want a turkey shoot.

If we went to Sawbo they would beable to afford a bit more of the ground improvements.

I liked the way that everytime we went there something new had been done, a far better idea than trying to do everything after promotion has been secured.

Good luck with the ground improvements. Shame you're soooooooo old and will have to retire before the club progreses!!!!!

P1SS off!

I will be here for a long time yet.

This level I reckon I can get 8 more years outta the bod.
