in front of a strong crow afc hornchurch has won the 33rd westview essex senior league cup final.a double from rikky burbridge on 59th and 70th made sure the urchin hordes went home happy with an historical treble in the pocket.as announced by a lot of esl experts,brentwood town made the hurchins work hard to earn their silverware.after a shaky start from the towners, where the urchins should have capitalized on it,brentwood came out of the shell and missed some good chances to take the lead towards the end of the first half.with the scoreline nil-nil at the interval,someone was starting to think that an upset was on the cards.that wasn't the case as a well disciplined hornchurch side took the lead thanks to a great rikky burbridge finish from the edge of the 18yds box following an excellent pass from steve king.the goal lifted everyone on the ground wearing a red and white shirt(and non <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)ten minutes later,the former west ham youth team striker,burbridge scored his 13th of the season putting the ball past the brentwood custodian from 10 yds.there was time for 16 years old billy drake to miss a one on one with the brentwood keeper before celebrations began....a fantastic treble for the bridge avenue club and a few tears shed from someone close to the press box...i wouldn't swear on it but a red ginger hair middle age man was getting really emotional.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> well done Urchins!we are gonna miss ya <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wavey.gif" alt="" />
