A lot of people around the county are of the opinion that the number of Essex derbies makes life a lot harder for the local clubs (braintree excepted)... Now with Braintree up and Maldon down there are less derbies for us (although Wivenhoe could come up via the play-offs). At present it's us, Heybridge, East Thurrock and Chelmsford.

 

There will be, however, a lot of Kent derbies next season, with Margate and Folkestone already in the div, Ramsgate up and the play-off final between Tonbridge and Dover... Be interesting to see if the same applies...
