Kimble...

I enjoyed the game, but I was disapointed in the turnout.Fans that I thought would be there whom I know, just did not show up. I shall remind and shame them when next we meet. By the way, I didn't hear anybody boo Bentley, mind you I did move from the stand to the Plough end for the second half. I must have missed the kerfuffle with the mighty mouthed fan. It might have been the three or four guys standing close to the camera gantry

Personally, the glasses I wear are neutral coloured. Are yours?

I think it would be so much better for everyone if we all typed in a font colour to reflect the tint on our glasses. So all those so-called rose--tinted spec wearers, please type in a nice shade of pink... CG, WVN, etc, a murky shade of grey would be good... everyone else find yourself a nice neutral colour...

I agree with pretty much everything said here.

I think that AK was releasing a lot of pent up frustration and it was a heat of the moment thing.

I was the one that pointed out to him that my son was there and we didn't need the language, I also pointed out that we were both on his side and were Fleet fans through and through.

When he saw my son, he immediately apologised.

This whole thing was the act of a man who is doing his damnedest to achieve something with us and that is something that we should all applaud.

Those that chose Monday to shout abuse are the ones that should feel ashamed. I overheard one little group shout 'Bloody typical - Luke Moore Can't Score' after Luke had taken a snap shot, but then I also heard them talk about the Ladies Cup Final saying that the 'Arsenal Bitches' were beating the 'Leeds Bitches'.

We may need bigger attendances, but I for one could do without neanderthals like them

Fisher let "Fridge" play? Risky given that they play AFC Wimbledon tomorrow in the playoffs (especially as the game was against a Wimbledon XI!!)

He did play at walking pace, though, and barely needed to jump for any high stuff, especially with Mooro alongside him.
We all thought (so did AK) it was funny when the AK tried to win a high ball against the fridge. He must has lost it by 5'. Amused calls for a ladder ensued.

An excellent suggestion Stu the only problem is anyone who doesn't want LD, AK and the board sacked is accused of wearing rose coloured specs, personally I see myself as very beige, I don't mind everyone at the club being sacked if we can replace them all with someone better but as long as they are still at the club they will get my support.

Final score was 3 - 2 to Fleet. Bobby Bowry gave away a penalty which Skins scored!

The penalty couldn't have been done better if it was the Harlem Globetrotters arranging it lol.

I had a top day. True it was a shame we got such a small turnout, especially for someone who has done so much for us and the club, but I thought it was all generally fun and lighthearted.

I moved to the Plough end for the second half and was completely oblivious to the whole Kimble thing so can't comment on that, but I was somewhat annoyed by some of the comments I heard in the first half by some of the other "supporters" around me near the halfway line. Mostly youngish boys with little personal digs aimed at players etc that were completely inappropriate for the occasion.

The Plough end was a laugh in the second half though, with lots of friendly banter between players and supporters, and it was a great time overall. Well done to everybody involved and thanks to Justin for all his years of service.

As for the whole LD bashing and Rose spec wearing issues, If we do have to bicker between ourselves like a load of old ladies, can we do it on the one thread pls and not let every item turn into the same thing? Thanks

Oh, why don't you just pop your rose-tinted specs back on and pipe down...

No. That was were I was standing. The original comment came from my left towards the away end. The second comment must have come from my right as that where AK was directing his rants.

I was replying to AndyC, I even used quote, rather than reply, so I don't know what happened
