Oh for those great days - "The Hurricane" v "The Whirlwind" and true athletes like the late, great Bill Wierbenieck. Had to drink about 30 pints of lager a day to combat a medical condition as I remember.. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Today's snooker just doesn't seem to have characters like them anymore and seems very bland. Probably why most people have switched off in droves since it's heyday in the early to mid 1980's.
