After last year I wasn't expecting the Haliax fans to be so friendly, but how wrong I was. In the Courtyard before the match boths sets of fans had some great banter, what football is all about.

Excellent day, great memories!

What a great day we had, very friendly people there, shame each away day in the Conference hasnt been that good, it was a taste of what could and should have been, team played superb and what a grin we had on the terraces, should be fancy dress more often !!!

it was a fantastic day, good fun, great atmosphere, friendly fans (the club is so much better for getting rid of the morons that were there last year, great result, and to beat a good team who have been unbeaten at home puts the icing on the cake.

i have some fantastic photos but like a twonk i forgot the lead to my camera so you will all have to wait till tomorrow (nice video footage of the dancing liney too)

Fantastic day all round. Nice to see the first team sign off with a trophy and also a most entertaining victory for the reserves to win their cup as well. Saw the fastest goal I have ever seen too in over 30 years of watching football, when Leyton opened the scoring after only 10 seconds straight from kick off and without a Canvey player having touched the ball - amazing... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> 2-2 after only 12 minutes I think it was - thought it was going to be a cricket score but a fine win for the 2nd string, many of whom will undoubtedly distinguish themselves in our 1st team next year without a doubt. Great too to see the Yellow Army get the drums out during this game and get behind these young lads - I am sure they did enjoy it.

Great day that will live on in the memory for a long time, great football and weather and a big thrill for my daughter Kelly when Mario gave her his boots after the game. He has been her favourite player since she has followed the club and he really, really made her day. Thanks also to MOB for the lift there and home and beers are definately on me at the next game.

It was a very good day. Where were Joe Dolan and Bimmo? Neither played in either match. Were both injured?

Nice to see both teams in action and win their respective trophies. Did think £11.50 was a little steep as an entrance fee, though I suppose it was for two games. Think quite a few left after the 1st team game however - bad move on their part as the reserves game v Leyton was real blood and thunder and very entertaining.
