Campaign Reaches fever pitch in Wexham

Thanks to those who have been out campaigning this morning and Afternoon in Wexham..We have been greeted with good doorstep responces and look forward during the next few days to leaflet drop and talk to people...

 

I was also in conversation this morning with David Mac Issac (independant agent for Latif Khan) here in wexham because in their re arranged and latest flier,

 

It was going to help the football club only when it sorted its financial problems out !) This of course is an asspertion against the club and told him that I was dissapointed and very unhappy that various other candidates have chossen to play dirty tricks , while we had played a fair game and really wanted to work for the good of the Town ! I asked him why and he immediatley told me that he did not want to do this by Tony Haines insisted he wanted the above remark on the leaflet...after a few minutes ..David Mmac Iassac was so annoyed with Tony Haines..he rang him there and then told him off (I could hear the conversation), wrote me an apology letter (signed) and also told me he would write an apology to our club through the Slough Express for next week !

 

Ok after the election..but at least a result..

for the good name of our club.

 

It became loud and clear , That Slough Town Suporters Trust was a real talking point over the town and we have some real scared local councillors by our presents in the local elections..

 

The main object we set out to do, and raise the never ending problem of our homeless ness ! and that we run a campign of REAL truths and honesty, Where a few choose to try and tell untruths and also to try and smear us with some extra lies !

 

I am so very Proud...that we never stooped to their Level..and hope we get more votes becuse of it...

 

They wait till next time...if they don't listern this time...

Been out leafletting Cippenham for another couple of hours earlier. A few more to do but will get them done in plenty of time.

 

Had a chat with one guy who said "I wasn't going to bother voting but now I've read the leaflet I will." That's at least one vote for D.Ashford Esq!

Chris, I think we've achieved a huge amount because all of a sudden Stokes is talking about STFC (albeit spreading more lies), the Conservatives have referred to it in their election leaflets (albeit more lies) and Hewitt has been provoked into writing to the paper (albeit either more lies or a blatant lack of understanding). Either way, that wouldn't have happened without the efforts of you guys standing and those supporting you through delivery of leaflets etc.

 

We've learned a lot in a very short space of time and if they think we're a threat to them this time, wait until next time when we can use the experience to mount a serious campaign.
