Nice to have you visit us Clinchie but we all have our different opinions now. Please respect ours as we respect yours. What is not acceptable is that you wish to vent your anger at our opinions by slagging our ground off. You should know full well why we have a temporary ground & that its not up to permanent standard but in saying that as a temporary ground it is nowhere near to what you say it is.It is neat tidy and does the job.The pitch cannot be faulted in any way whatsoever. It may look like a building site around the outside of the ground & yes, there it is just that.An unfinished ground round the outer limits awaiting the finishing touches for when the impending new stadium gets underway. But in no way is the ground WITHIN those limits a building site. Please vent your anger elsewhere if thats the only way you can visit another clubs forum & disagree with others comments & views.By the way of what I saw of both teams I too believe Fisher were far superior to yours.Thats not disagreeing with you because of your attitude or opinion but its my honest view from what I have witnessed from both teams,Fisher & yourselves.I hope you will either accept our opinions or ignore them,in which case you can remain anonymous to us.Am sure that would be acceptable on our part.

Sorry that you didnt make the play offs but please dont take it out on us.

From what I saw in the games against us Fisher were by far the best team in the division. Everybody else looked ordinary. No doubt consistency is what won the title for you at Braintree and no lack of ability. But I will be pleased to lose Fisher if they go up. I like Hampton much more as a club but for our promotion hopes next season it would be in our favour to see Fisher go up.

Clinchie we can only base our opinions of the comparative strengths of teams in this league by what we see. We are not blessed to have audiovisual coverage of every game repeated to us 24 hours a day as the Football League clubs do.

Therefore, on the evidence that was presented to us, of the comparative strengths of the two teams in question I think Fisher Athletic were a superior team to Braintree Town. However this does not mean that I think that Braintree did not deserve thier Championship.

Finally when it comes to the choice of visiting Black Notley or Bermondsey well Black Notley wins 999 times out of 1,000.

All the best for next season and look forward to our matches in Conf S in 2007/8 season.

Went along last night. Monster crowd of 2,300 packed into Dulwich's ground. Wombles fans were superb, but their team was not. Fisher deserved the win. Their guy Scannell wide on the left was a real handful. Also spotted Jim Ward and Richard Lawson in the crowd!

Don't see how the Iron fan can say they out played us in the two matches this year. They won 3-2 in a thriller but we were unlucky not to get a draw. Then we drew 1-1 at Champion Hill where there was nothing to split the sides. People on the Braintree forum recognise us (like you) as an excellant side and mention the two games I have highlighted as Braintree's best of the season.

Apologies Clinchie. I misread & thought you were a Billericay fan for some reason.Hence my final remark on my previous post. But my personal opinion is the same when it comes to comparing both Braintree & Billericay against that of Fisher. However you won the league so well done anyway!

2274 at Fisher v AFC last night. So much for the reported 3000 capacity. Still, 2000 AFC fans must have gone home disappointed but really didnt they do well to even get to the play offs after a shakey middle season. They fought their way back well & though their promotion sequence was halted I think they were worthy play-off candidates this year in the end. Hopefully next season we can capitalise on their terrific following unlike this year.

He has undoubted skill but his too lightweight. His work rate isn't upto par as well.

Also he takes too many swan dives that isn't encouraged by the fans, no need for it in non league.

Griffiths and Watts are our playoff front two. They're supported by the likes of Jamie Richards, Damien Scannell, Lenny Piper and Hamid Barr. Its tough for Taylor to get a game at the min...
