Important result this for most Ryman clubs.

I think MFC could justifiably feel unlucky to lose out on revenue last season when the saturday Wombles fixture was postponed.

If Wombles 'stay down' that would add at least 1000 spectators to a home game next season.

With bar revenue that should be £10 a person.

Thus that is an extra £10000 to the club for one match.

Deduct say £1000 for extra` expenses/security, then MFC should be better off by £9k next season.

It that result stands then , and Wombles stay in the Ryman, i reckon on that one result alone tonight, MFC can afford to pay 75% of Lee Protheroes likely wage bill for next season.

So if Wombles lose tonight, we must sign Protheroe as we are probably have £9k more in the budget tonight than we would have done last night.

Nothwithstanding the fact that LP will probably help us gather more points which in turn should add a few more to our 'normal gates'

The forum also says that there is a capacity crowd there of 3000.There must be AFC fans outnumbering Fisher fans by about 28-1 if that be the case. Not sure how true that capacity crowd mention is though.

Final score(yet to be confirmed, as others are trying a possible wind-up in saying that there was a 90th minute equaliser). However it does seem to be that a 2-1 win for Fisher IS the correct score after all.

Pretty nail-biting stuff for both teams, and also for Hampton.

I enjoyed both home and away games for all three teams, so am loth to lose any of them.

Looking forward to our turn next season though.

But for onemanandhisdog (Keith and Banjo), come on Hampton!

Fisher or AFC, I really don't mind.

What a shame AFC Norbiton will have to slum it in the Ryman again next season. Now watch there attendances falter.

Be better if Fisher disapear to Conf S as with thier silly money they will only be stronger next season. They were also the best team in the Ryman this season.
