Prediction League - Final Positions

72 points is a very good score in one of these Prediction league thingy's so many congratulations to BFR who took 1st place and wins £60. Sharing 2nd place with equal points, and the same number of correctly placed teams, is Chris Boxall and Russ who share £50.

 

In 4th, just four points behind the winner, was Reading Rebel who will receive £10 and Andrew Strathdee took 5th spot and wins £5 with the second of his two guesses. See, it's always worth having a couple of goes at these things!

 

Last, but by no means least, is the award for the wooden spoon. For much of the season this looked like it was heading to the Proprieter of Tummies Restaurant but Emma managed to steal it in the last week and wins £2.50 with a truly woeful score of 190!

 

Well done to everybody who took part. Hopefully everyone has had a bit of fun taking part and seeing their scores. And, more importantly, this has raised £127.50 for the Supporters Trust.

Hampton & Richmond ran a similar Prediction League to ours and invited an entry from each club. I entered and did terribly, as I did in our one, but the winner scored a fantastic 66 points. One of the teams that let him down from an even better score? Windsor!!

Thing with them is, at the start of the season they were thought to be splashing the cash and a lot of people expected them to be challenging for the play offs because of it.

All us girls know the value of the inflated male ego. We all allowed our other halves to finish in the higher position for a quiet life. Becca obviously hasn't fully grasped this concept yet, ie beating the boys through the gate at Harrow, but she'll learn when she's older.
