The Pitch Today =Pipers

Dont know how others saw it but I thought the pitch was in impeccable condition today.In fact the best I have seen ALL season. Ray has certainly earned all the accolades bestowed on him today.The end of the season & a pitch that was in A1 condition.. Not many clubs can boast such a magnificent surface at anytime of the year let alone at the close of the season. Very well kept Ray..

Nice to see the entertainment at half-time too. Brought back memories from years gone by when bands did this on a regular basis.Was it the cadets or something?

Pipers(not Keiths),drummers,all were very welcome even if they did delay the second half up for a minute or two.

Its good practice for them to play in front of a crowd & makes a welcome change for us at half-time

too.

There were also a number of their parents there as well, and with a performance like that they may well come back.

The pitch was very nice to play on today and yesterday. Thank Ray for letting us have a kick about on your beloved pitch.

Thank you for your kind words about the Band at half time. We were members of the Boys' and Girls Brigade from Margate, Canterbury, Sittingbourne and Strood. Sorry for delaying the 2nd half, but it took a while to get onto the pitch, so threw our timings out!!. I'll make sure those involved are aware of what tou said, and we also had positive comments from the club, and Bertie!

I'll have to agree that the pitch was in excellent condition for the end of the season. Well done Ray
