Sadly, it wasn't to be but bloody hell...what a ride this season has been!!! Full of the rolacoaster of emotions and certainly not boring.

I am gutted we didn't make the play-offs but on the day I felt we just didn't quite do enough to get the result we needed. In any event it wasn't really yesterday that cost us, it was our form in September through November.

 

Matt has done a great job since he took over and with a little bit of squad tweaking there's no reason why we can't achieve a play-off position next season.

 

We ended up averaging about 540 for league games which isnt bad, but yesterday's gate clearly suggests that with a good season next year we could easily be up at 7 or 800.

 

Thanks to Matt and the crew for a great last few months and to Steve for his continued support and also to the members of the curry gang! I've paid for it stylishly this morning.
