Haworth's unlikely to be involved - Met Police are playing Dover in the play offs.

Shame, it would have been good to see Rob play for the Fleet again.

Oh well, if Big Frank and Ben Walshe turn up at least we can have a 'guess the weight' competition.

Kimberly-Clark could furnish the Industrial Scales for that event. Pity they don't become the main sponsor for a season(or 10)!

Both of which is potentially a possibility as I understand that L Ds contract has now expired. However, I can't see L D resigning in a month of Sundays. In fact the Club are planning for next season with the same manager in charge with, I guess, a new 1 year contract. No doubt a new young and lean Fleet side are seen as the way ahead.

A search on this very forum will reveal the Reporter stating that Daish was given a contract up till the end of the current season plus another year.

Whether this is accurate or not is unknown as nothing "concrete" was ever released by the Club.

Which, MIGHT be a blessing in disguise. It takes time for a manager to settle as it did with Andy Ford. You never know, we must get the stand fixed and back behind the goal - create a batter atmosphere, help the players and you just never know.

Yeah! like Daish might resign, England might win the World Cup, Clark and Prescott might do the honourable thing and resign and aliens will take over the Earth!

WVN Just Shut up for christ sake I am so sick of your wining and moaning you must be a very sad person with nothing better to do than moan about the club.

Start to support the Club or Get Lost!!

Then don't read my posts or respond either....All the time this an open forum, I will continue to make comment as and when I feel.

I am entitled to my opinion and from what I have read recently I am not alone in holding the views that I do.

So, if you don't like it, put your rose tinted glasses back on along with your 'everthings rosy in Daish's garden' t-shirt and have an enjoyable summer.

Because unless something like a miracle happens during the summer, its going to be a bloody long winter!

If it wasn't for your incomparable ability to cajole, provoke, needle or indeed, enrage many a response out of people on here, I'd say that your general pessimism and negativity is just getting me down a tad...

I am not saying that you are not intitled to your thoughts but if you feel that strong about it why are you moaning on here and not telling Liam and Alan directly how you feel??

Do you really think they would listen?

Get real for christ sake!

However, if there are many more home games that you don't go to because you can't be bothered, this entitlement will be lost.

When Jimmy refers to the 'current' season, he presumably means the season that was 'current' when the article was written, i.e. 2004/2005.

Here is the most conclusive proof that is publicly available on the matter.
