Not one to moan, but what the **** are we doing to try and save our club

All we get on here is petty arguments

We have a whole bunch of ego's Harding and the supporters club aren't much better apart from there weekly quote in the press "We hate Harding" then Nothing.

If they were not so bloody minded in the first place then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess (don't get me wrong 90% of this is still Hardings Fault.<p>

As we have no game on Saturday why don't we look to do collections at other grounds. I'm looking to set up an indepandednt supporters trust to help out the club for new owners, current owners or god forbid a new club.<p>Volnteers needed for the following fixtures

Bedford v sutton

Wood v Ricky

Croydon v Aldershot

harrow v Kingstiona

Aylesbury v dulwich

Boro v scarboro'

I don't understand why this is rushing in. To try and save the club, I think that an independent supporters club could be the way forward. St. Albans have a hard core of pasionate supporters (I've encountered a few the last couple of days!) and I'm sure that the club could be saved.<p>I put a message on the board yesterday asking when the deadline was, but i didn't get an answer...when is it?<p>Cheers

Hi cityfanday.<p>Great enterprise and enthusiasm, cfd. A couple of small points:<p>Your criticism of the Supporters Club is totally unjustified. Have you telephoned that Chaiman chap to voice your concerns? Aired any of your views with any members of the Committee? Did you attend the Fans Forum in July? The supporters meeting in October? Did you come forward to help with the Christmas programme?<p>The collection idea. What will you do with any money raised? You should be absolutely clear of the objective when inviting donations, not least to avoid the crime of deception [obtaining money under false pretences]. We don't need another Police investigation.<p>Pay the players? How much are they owed? Which players? Money is owed to all of them but let's take two as an example. Dereck Brown and Ryan Moran. O.K. Let's go no further.

Buy a new red tractor?

Pay the electricity bill? How much is that then? Where is the electricity bill?

Pay the rent?

Stock the clubhouse?

Pay professional fees for advice?

It's only £1 to buy the company. <p>On a serious note, any of these ideas are far better implemented under an official 'banner'. I have no doubt that the Supporters Club would welcome the opportunity of assisting someone of your undoubted initiative. Have a word with Ian Rogers.<p>Oh, by the way. Any suggestion that the current chaos is anything other than 100% the fault of the majority shareholder shows a complete lack of understanding and is likely to lead to a chant: "Are you Harding in disguise?", particularly if messages of support follow from anyone pretending to be Brimsdown Rovers' fan.<p>I hear that plans are afoot for a supporters meeting next week.

I'm with GHA on this one. Given the absence of multi-millionaires rushing to buy the club the way forward IMHO is for the Supporters Club to contact Supporters Direct with a view to forming a Supporters Trust. Quite simple really. Now could you please get on with it - there are only 22 days to go (that should give you a clue Chris).<p>Sayonara.

Your all so bloddy stupid!!!!!<p>I met Ian Rogers the other day, he sat there smoking a cigar going "theres no constitution blah blah blah" just as smug as a young Harding, in case none of you have noticed but this club has been suspended for a fortnight, players are leaving on free's, in 21 days we WILL BE NO MORE!!

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO SPELL IT OUT TO YOU!!!!<p>It's amazing that you go on about supporters meetings in October and B4 Xmas, that was then this is now read the above paragraph, the supporters club should be having meetings evry single day to try and come to an aggreement.<p>I want to set up a trust becasue thats all thats left, the money can go to a new consurtium to help clear debts or maybe give the club another stay of exicution.<p>And why not buy the club, I reacon a collection at all these games and all home and away games for the remander of the season could make 10K, we have enough points on the board to not be relegated if we lost every game left, lets sell the team we could easly get 20K for the team, lets play non payed supporters for the remander of the season, we may lose 30-0 every week but surley watching half a season of humiliation will be a better option than having to watch nothing and maybe 3 seasons trying to get back to this level of the pyamid.<p>If we have no wages to pay, then virtally all the cash can go on clearing the debts, we finish the season, still be in this division and can re-group in the summer the club will be a much bettter propersition.<p>Gatehead have recently had problems nowhere as serious as ours and Gazza and shearer are donating 10k each, has anyone contacted players and management of local teams like Arsenal and Spurs, all it needs is a local boy like Darren Anderton to think yeah I'll donate a couple of grand for others to follow suit. Lets set up a trust contact high profil;e palyers and clubs. we can get cash possibly, friendlies (we know how much these generate), signed item to auction or raffle.<p>Get all this in a trust and see what happens, we can raise 10K I reacon by Feb 20th lets buy the club and do what I said above, if evryone pulls together it can be done. At the moment all I see is internal arguments and absolutly no ideas from anyone.<p>If worse cames to the worst we will also have a fair amount in a account to start up a new club!<p>Now can we habe volunteers for the games i posted and maybe some feedback from the so called supporters club!<p>E-mail me

Can I suggest that we have an official statement from the Supporters Club as to what is happenning at the moment with regard to Supporters Trust's, public meetings etc. It will not do our cause any good whatsoever if we end up fighting amongst ourselves once again!
