i heard today from a very reliable source trotty hasnt got the job.it was also said that the new manager was inexperienced. any ideas? john keister springs to mind

Dont start me off again Tone.If it is then I'm sorry but I may just keep away from Hartsdown for the whole of next season in protest.I doubt they would be stupid enough to offer the post to a minnow like him.That wouldnt be the start we need.It wouldnt be a positive move either. i.m.o.

Do we really need to duplicate this thread over and over again...Robin Trott is the fan favourite, owing to the results under his managership. I wouldnt bet my future mortgage (God knows when Ill get that) on it though. The Board, like God, moves in mysterious ways.

Yes we do James. The most important thing to any true MFC fan at the moment is who is going to be the new manager. God help us if it is one of the Ward's.

I don't think the board are stupid enough to go for Ward. That would be an awful appointment.

We'll, they did think it necessary to come up with new stadium plans. I would think it very unlikely its Ward. Succesive promotions, I think he will stay at Ramsgate to try and see Ramsgate become the best team in Thanet *snigger*

I would be happy if it was either Craig Edwards or Robin Trott and I think we should give whoever it is a big MFC welcome when they get to the clubhouse if they have to get here a bit after the game.

If I was Mr Edwards I would have omitted the Redbridge job from my cv! Not exactly a great track record. Could happen though with all the Essex connections we now have at the club. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I think Mike you are assuming wrongly with the Redbridge thing. He got them into Conference South on a low budget before taking the Chelmsford job during last season. I don't blame him as I am sure the budget at Redbridge was too low to compete at the level they were at. Craig Edwards was also the manager of Grays the year they put us out of the FA Cup via a Jon Boardman own goal. Our first year in the Conference.
