Who did you vote for?. Who do you think got it?. Spoke about it at the misa meeting last night, though we saw the trophy(looks really good) the name was hidden and no amount of attempt at bribing could get Melvin to divulge the winning name. Not even a clue. So who is it what are your thoughts.

Well I voted for Hasim Deen as been with us all season, plus I sponsor his shirt! I think Danny Hockton will win it tho

I also voted for Hasim, for the commitment he shows out on the pitch and for being a real nice guy off it.

Bertie Brayley. Been here most of the season and immediately started putting in good performances. Hopefully next year he can play in his natural position which is probably wide left and he will be well up for showing his class again.

 

Danny has done brilliant and was a close 2nd for me. His goals have kept us up. If he had been here all year he would have probably won the award hands down. Hasim has done well when he has been playing. Shame he has struggled with injuries lately. Hasim and Trotty joint third for me.

Trotty came along & although not here for as long as others has shored that defence up no-end. Just the thing we needed. His command on the field and subsequently off the field swayed it for me.

Brayley petered out after losing the captaincy but up until then was our hero & Hocktons goals have helped us up front without a doubt. ALL others of course played a part too. Dean Standen gets a mention for all my whining about him. He could have switched off completely but didnt & has stuck with it.Still not my kind of player but credit to him nevertheless.Keister has come alive later on in the season & must merit consideration too.

Trotty was my overall choice though.

I chose Hockton as he has came a long and has scored 12 goals for us in a short space of time and he has won us games.

Oh yeah, still a good record. I was still living in last weeks world. God i need to get with the times.
