I hope it is true Mr C, I have just read the news article on the Fleet Site that you must have read and it certainly seems that way.

Great news, but I shall postpone my celebratery dance until confirmation from Dave is received.

I remember us having the debate on here. What if? Tostao comes back, what will the reaction be? Lets see!!!! I am happy that he is or that it looks like he is, after all he gives us plenty more options going forward and finishing off moves aswell as creating, weve been losing by the odd goal and could do with him to create even more chances and put matches beyond doubt in our favour. As for Smudger i was dissapointed when he went and am glad to see him back, he was unlucky last year and this year with people on his back yet i thought he was brilliant last year, strange to see where he will fit in with Tostao there aswell, but you can never have too much cover,. I seem to remember that Tostao if it is true will be starting with a ban anyway as he had 5 yellows just before he left?!

We all know who writes the news pages and well done for that Dave, with your own job as well it cant be easy. But it is one of those sensitive subjects where we don’t want to all jump to the wrong conclusions and celebrate the return of two class acts before it is 100% confirmed on here. Just needed to know whether it is definitely true or not. Cant believe our eyes!!!

I hope he's sacked his "agent" or "adviser" responsible for this debacle.

If he didn't have one and it was solely his decision, then he should invent one in order to deflect any fan's criticism and bat away the jibes!

I hope/trust that the Fleet faithful will give him a warm welcome back - we all recognise and respect humility - as it would appear that he is earnest enough to admit his mistake.

Give the fella a break and I'm sure he'll repay us with some more scintillating displays!!

Good luck to Smudger too, I'm sure he'll do more than a job for Dartford.

Ok..... First of all, I watched Dartford on Saturday and I can assure you that Darren will be your player of the Year if he is given a decent run in the side and you can provide him with the service he needs! I was a little shocked at how poor you were on Saturday, although I think I am right in saying you had a number of injuries. (Where have I heard that one before!) You certainly have gone downhill since last season, and I hope that doesn't cause any offence to you.

More importantly he is nice guy, and I am sure all the contributors here would wish him well wherever he goes.

Secondly, as for the Tossa thing? Before people think about giving him a hard time, (and I'm not sure they will.) It was his agent, a certain Mr Fashanu, who gave him some truely dreadful advice and I know for a fact that the entire team were asked their opinion on this matter and they ALL wanted him back. If they think he is a team player, then its good enough for me.

Getting off my soapbox now, thank you!

Darren has now decided that he wants first team football which he is not guaranteed at Gravesend so he has decided to join Dartford.

For the Dirtford fan unable to read further up the thread.....or look on the forum:

"Darren Smith has rejoined the club after leaving Folkestone"

Good player - don't waste him!!

I would agree with you entirely, Andy except for one thing. I know for a fact that John Fasanu was not involved in the St Patricks debacle. There was an agent involved, but it wasn't him. I think that this particular agent was Irish, although I don't know that as a fact.

If the manager is prepared to have him back and ther players are prepared to have him back then the supporters shouldn't give him a hard time.

I don't think he is a world beater but we are definitely more dangerous going forward with Kwashi playing than without him and that alone should mean that everyone should be glad to see him return to the first team.

Dear Santa, I would like Liam and Francis back for Christmas, thank you. .
