We were poor. Awful first half and despite having a lot of the play in the second we got hit on the break when one of their players clearly handled the ball and scored.

 

Their goalkeeper made two excellent saves from B Bubb and Boot in the second half, but the match was already probably over. Boot started on the bench as he had an injury. At the moment we are struggling for players and new signngs are probably needed.

 

We have lost four games in the league now. Three of them on a Tuesday night and I can't help but feel that the games on a cold, wet Tuesday night at grounds with no atmosphere could cost us in the long run. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/let_it_all_out.gif" alt="" />

It maybe clear what the problem is and indeed many of us are aware of the problem, but can you provide the immediate solution? No.

, so dont ask idiotic questions, my impressions of Mr Deaner & Mr Browne, or your impressions of them, we are perfectly intitled to and we perfectly entitled to express, after all it is a free country, now if you are worried that Mr Dreamer will do a runner cos of critisism then perhaps that may be on certain peoples agenda, thats for other people to concern themselves with ...............now on Saturday get your trainspotters guide and bow before god Deaner and in 12 months time when the club is no more and Deaner is a fading history you will have something else to do on Saturdays?

Dear roger, I'm afraid you epitomise the type of supporter now bowing before god deaner, and will u do the decent thing and stop supporting them once Dreamer has gone, r u quite happy that our once proud club has been dragged through FA hearings, League hearings, non payment of wages, ETC Etc.........the list is endless

rebel yell-if u have no concern with slough town then surely u are waisting your time coming on this website and as ur not CURRENTLY a fan of slough do us a favour and keep your opinions to your self.a football fan supports their club through thick and thin and cant pick and choose when they want to support their club. ur either a fan or not-clearly you put your personal feelings before the club,and obviously your not a fan-get my drift!!!!!!!

Must have missed where I said 'Please don't come on here with an individual point of view which may be different to everyone else's'.

 

If we wanted to stop the criticism of the club, why do we have a message board at all? Ok, so some people don't appreciate this board as much as the previous one, but it still offers an outlet to people like us who have an opinion to share with others. The message board was moved due to adverts popping up everywhere and a poor level of service on another. I have worked with the admin on this board to help us have a good outlet for all our views.

 

I'm not concerned about what people think about Mr. Deaner and Mr. Browne. Each person is entitled to their own opinion, and whilst the pair of them are easy enough to speak to and nice people, they aren't doing us any favours by running our football club poorly and as a result, frustrate and annoy me as it appears to be quite straightforward as to where the problems lie and how to resolve them.

 

I presume Rebel Yell that you do want to see Slough get back into the Conference eventually and progress from there? Or is your vendetta simply against Martyn Deaner?

 

I've no intention of stopping you from being on here either. You're opinion is as valid as anyone else who posts on here and the only way we will remove a message is if abuse becomes personal. Any other messages are removed for a reason, and this will be stated when they are removed.

 

I'm still waiting for your answer on the solution, as it seems you're not making much of an effort to change things for the better? Are you even a Slough fan I wonder? Do you REALLY want the best for the football club or the worst for Mr. Deaner?
