anyway pixies are fab. i'd say surfer rosa/come on pilgrim is probably better, just for the fact that it's so much rawer. everything they did after that sounded progressively more 80's to me. however i'd recommend all pixies album. although i prefer the production on their earlier stuff, they didn't lose the ability to write decent songs
