1st Team Manager

Recommended Posts

Chris Kinnear, whose contract with the Club expires on 30 April 2006, has been formally notified that the Club will not be seeking to renew his contract.

Applications received by the Club following the suspension of Chris Kinnear have now been considered in full by the Board of Directors. It is intended that a final decision will be reached this week, with the announcement of the ‘Chosen One’ being made after the presentations following the Hendon game on Sat 29 April 2006.

Coffin Ender isnt wrong though. He has a point. One of the concerns I have is that as player-manager he might not be completely objective with his manager side. I prefer the player and manager to be separate roles so that the manager can make his decisions without any personal biases by being in the team himself. Just a personal thought. Nothing against Robin Trott as the results speak for themselves but I prefer it to be separate.

I hope I never get that bad <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

No, just trying to be logical. A couple of weeks ago we were told that all sorts of people were interested in the Margate job. If that's true, there could be some candidates out there with years of managerial experience and impressive CVs.

still would like to see Robin as manager even though its still early on , No one has said to much about Mike Flanagan , from what i have seen watching a few of the games now with him in the dug out he would make the ideal assistant to, for Robin . Flanagan no`s his football he has been around long enough so Robin and Mike for me could be the ideal partnership ,so why spoil it as its working fine at the mo.
