Muff Hearing Thursday

Very Interesting Development...

Apparently, Maidenhead have been deducted 2 points for fielding Soloman Taiwo. This is according to their messageboard.

Surely if one team that fields Taiwo gets deducted 2 points, then surely other teams that Taiwo played for should be deducted.

But like i said, they will wait to see the result of Weymouth vs Lewes on Saturday.

Deafening silence on the Weymouth board to the frustration of their fans.

If it was in Colin's mind to play the Under 8 'B' team against Weston Super Mare in order to 'rest' t'lads for the play-off match on Sunday week at Stevenage, I suggest that he should pull 'em back from their training camp in Antigua and put the first team out on Saturday.

Bring on the Weston. err Super Mare.

They would, wouldn't they.

The Conference gave some decision yesterday concerning Weymouth, and if it was good news, I'm surprised it's being held back by their Officials.

We'll hear at some point, no doubt, but for now, t'lads should be preparing to win the next two games, idealy by playing their Brazillianesgue champagne-fest football. And it starts tomorrow.

Bring on that lot from whatevercounty Weston Super Mare is in.

'Yesterday Maidenhead were deducted 2 points.

We have not been formally charged - we have however been informed that the paperwork is on its way.In fact we have had it confirmed that the Conference will have to call us to a hearing as they have received an official complaint...........

We have not been to a meeting and in fact as yet have no confirmation of a meeting date.

Sorry - this is a difficult situation that will take some time to resolve.

We need only to win tomorrow for all of this to go away. All I can ask is that we have a bumper attendance - of noisy people - to help us get over this.

Apologies for only being on here now and not last night - was a bit busy organising the open top bus stuff.'

if we dont win and you do then i havant ( get it!) a clue what will happen as we will know the points will come off and you have won but we will still be handed the trophy?? I personally think they should wait to hand the troply over but i guess they cant as it will look like the conf bods dont know their head from their [****!!****]

I wouldn't rule any of the teams out, judging by the competence shown so far. I doubt Muff's league position would have any bearing on it.

For example, (and this is just an example) if the Taiwo incident costs Muff 4 points, but, for example (I must stress this), someone else was registered incorrectly there and costs them a further 7 (hypothetical) points, that's Muff squarely in the play off's.

So the play off's would have to be delayed.

What a shambles.
