My work collegue has just come off the phone to Adrian Pennock Welling manager, so i got him to ask if it was true that they were looking to sign LP in the close season . his reply was quite simply NO. ( no b......t this happened today)

 

so heres hoping LP stays with us for next season

There cannot be many Kentish managers who wouldn't want Provs - Daish excepted, as he is still one of the better wing backs in the Conference.

His contract is dead and buried here at Fleet, sadly, and he is presumablt open to the best offer that suits him, whether it be at Margate, Welling or whoever.

Whilst i desperately hope that he stays at the 'Gate;why are most people thinking he will join a kent club.

I heard the Welling rumour from a (usually) very reliable source.

 

Let's hope a) it's wrong, or the talk will put the mockers on it, or c) Trotty gets the nod and we sign LP on a two year deal (long enough to reach the conf).

Surprised to see him listed as a wingback. He has worked wonders in central midfield for us.
