BBC Essex did not even mention canvey apart from the score until almost ten to six typical of the lack of support.

A very emotional day. The secenes on the pitch at the end were tear-jerking to say the least.

 

Must thank the Halifax fans who were brilliant. Great bunch of lads in the pub and when their guys invaded the pitch at the end they came over to us and wished us well.

 

I took some photos but not sure how they've come out as the viewfinder on the camera is buggered so basically it was trial and error.

 

A brilliant day, we couldn't have asked for more!!!

Not sure about after the game but they certainly were reporting updates during the game, i think it will be a while before we get as much coverage on BBC Essex.
