SPONSORED WALK UPDATE

As you will have read, a massive 42 people took part in the walk to Harrow. Fantastic!! And, everybody finished, even the really small people which is brilliant.

 

Now for the hard part....collecting the money. Please, please, please do all you can to collect the money you've raised as quickly as possible and pay it directly to Chris Sliski. The intention, as last year, is to make the official donation to the Trust and the Charity at one of the early home games next season so we need to have all the money at the earliest opportunity to reconcile who gets what!

Yeoboseyo Evadne!! I was thinking about you this morning and your pledge for each walker that finished. Given the high turnout and the remarkable fact that everyone finished, you may want to put a cap on your generous donation. £42 is quite a lot! By the way, Korean Won are not accepted!!

I have 209,000 won in my wallet at the moment, that should just about cover the 42 pounds. And I've just watched a rerun of the Italy defeat by Korea in the last world cup on the television in my room in the Academy, having earlier seen the Arsenal v Tottenham match. Not a bad way of getting over the jet lag.

Needless to say I am absolutely gutted to have missed out (guess I will just have to look forward to next year) but unfortunately I came down with a virus that left me with a temperature of 103, in bed for 36 hours and having delusions that I was the President of the USA.

 

I will make a donation to Ian that is for all the walkers. Well done.
