harrow vs slough match thread

Dreadful 1st half, much better 2nd.

Had Harrow forwards been able to shoot, we woud have been stuffed ong before Leigh Mason got our goal back.

Slough did enough to earn a point, but it wasn't to be.

Leigh Mason was by far the worst player on the pitch, despite his goal.

That is utter rubish in my opinion, I though Leigh was superb today - creative in midfield and got back when he needed to. Despite his mistake leading to the penalty, Avery was also on top form.

Have to agree with the above, Mason was my MOTM - did really well to create chances, despite being on the left wing, which isn't his natural position. Cracking free-kick too. What on earth made you think he did so badly?

Every time I saw he had the ball he lost it or gave it away <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Hodges or Alexis were my MOTM. Hodges purely for the fact that he was being constantly fouled, Alexis for hardly putting a foot wrong.

I though Mason was MOTM today and was our only outlet in midfield. Constantly made himself available to get the ball from Alexis and with Ballard and McCleary not playing well, the two of them held things together. Topped things off with a great free kick.

don't know what ted and nathan saw from where they were in the ground today, but i agree with everyone else, Mason was on much better form today, making a right nuisance of himself... which is what an attacking midfielder should do and scoring a beautful free kick to boot!...although I take your point about hodges, he was being jumped all over. I personally thought Alexis was good without being spectacular today, he did his job (it particularly looked good when he dropped just between the back four and the midfield), Also believe Avery had a great game..bit worrying about mcCleary though non?
