Leo
Thanks Grays and congratulations on a top class season. I would not be surprised to see several of the Canvey squad at Grays and probably Chelmsford next year. If you go up via the play offs, if they cannot play for us it would be good to see some of the lads playing league football - Danny and Lee would be good signings for Grays but have to say that am not Clarke's greatest fane and doubt he would be good enough to play at that level to be honest. Anyway thanks for your good wishes and best of luck for the remainder of the season.

Yellow Bungle
I know this sounds controversial, but I really wouldn't mind Grays winning the Trophy.
Leo
Probably to some people but I personally feel that they are a well run club off the field (no matter what you may think of Stimmo and Micky Woodward) and they have earned their success over the past few years through getting the right people in place to do the job required and having the vision and drive to go for that success. I really think they will win the trophy, go up via the play offs and possibly get promotion into Division 1 next year. Oh well, rather them than Hornchurch - is that being controversial too? Yellow Bungle
If you're from Grays you can get 6 points quite easily. Just get in your Capri Ghia, crank up the volume and go passed two of those yellow boxes. Boom, boom!

Spursman
Grays certainly are a well run club off the field and a top side - only a fool or the most biased Grays hater would deny that. Doesn't mean to say that Canvey fans would wish them success though. Frankly I don't care who wins the trophy now but if it is Grays and they go up into the football league, they will have deserved to do so and good luck to them. They have bought well and as somebody else said they have the right people in place to do the jobs required. Still say that the away win at Grays is probably one of my happiest memories in over 30 odd years of watching football and that is certainly a day that will live in the memory for all time. South Mouth
Sorry but what is it with kissing Grays ars*s all of a sudden. Would you see Man Utd fans doing that to City supporters or Arsenal to Tottenham. No, you fuc*ing wouldn't. And its doesn't matter that we are not directly next to each other likr they are. They are 'Local Rivals'. So what if they go up and win the Trophy and get more sucess due to a endless supply of money. They are Grays Athletic and we HATE them. Why dont we just stick to matters at home instead of worrying about their successes.
Guest
You know I am with Chalky! I hope all the chavs and chavettes, get put in Borstal where they belong!! Chalky, I smell one or two sucking up to try and make their defection less like an act of treason.
Spursman
Sucking up? I don't think so matey. Facts are just being stated here that Grays have done really well this season. Nothing wrong with that is there? I have followed football for a long time and can see that Woodward and Stimson have done a top class job there over the past few years and I am as jealous as f*ck if you really want the truth. Grays have achieved what Canvey could have with more ambition and foresight and it makes me cry to see the direction both clubs are going in now come the end of the season. You don't know me or anything about me and I don't appreciate snide comments about "defecting to Grays" okay. I will tell you now that whatever league Canvey are in next year that the season ticket will again be purchased and we will be at Park Lane and away games following the club. I believe in giving credit where it is due and telling how it is and if that upsets people here too bad.
