I think the heart has gone out of the team, 3 draws when a couple of wins would have seen us up.

 

Rothwell - we threw it away

Enfeild - we weren't there until the second half

Aveley - the players looked more fed up than me, and I'd just been ripped off for beer and entrance!

 

I think it was SOB who said it has been a long season, probably too long.

I agree with your points, BUT, there has to be some belief and Corby to win both of their remaining games is not a sure bet is it.

If Corby fail at Uxbridge I would hope that will be THE spur that the team need to win the last game and go up in 2nd spot.

 

It's all if's and but's - let's see what happens at Uxbribge.

I think we had more than one chance during the season.

 

If it has to be the play offs, then so be it. Mind you, Corby could lose a game and we win ours then everybody will be happy again!

I can't imagine that Uxbridge will want to do us any favours. Anyway, promotion through the play offs would go a long way to raising the money for ground improvements I imagine. Let's just hope Dartford miss out, we are much better than all of the others.
