Todays Paper

Robin Trott says in todays paper that he would like the managerial position resolved before the end of the season. He says he has players lined up should KP invite him to succeed CK. He says there'll be no Fancy Dans, no attitudes, no cliques. They will all be of a winning breed - my breed!!!

What great words, give Robin the job thats what I say!

I have to admit that RT's performance has been very good so far. I think hes showing a positive attitude by getting the ball rolling towards next season.

Could we see pre-seasons against the likes of Stevenage, Grays & Gravesend next season?

Have to wonder if one of the players he's talked too is LP? Were I him I would have made LP my 1st port of call.

RT's record to date of 5 points from 3 games, would give us an average of 70 points next season, so give the guy the job, he's shown he's capable, eager & willing, that counts for alot in my books.

An early appointment is vital.

I may be looking in the wrong media, but lack of an advert is conspicous by its abscence !!

Are the board thereby leaning towards RT.

better the 'devil you know' and equally RT has not been there long enough to have become over familiar with the players-can still distance himself which imo is vital aswell

The one thing that worries me with Trott would be the apparent entertainment value. I can't say how bad each game has been but from what I've heard they haven't been that good. I think at this level entertainment will bring people through the gates rather than success (obviously to a certain level) I'd rather have a keegan than a George Graham.

I guess i'll see on the day for myself last game of the season
