Next Seasons Ground?

Recommended Posts

I think the last 3 years have been good for both sides as windsor has had an income and it has let us look at our position and options for the future.

The benifits of staying at windsor are that both sides knows it works, although there will always be disagreements about the money!

Moving to a new partnership could get us better facilities and get new fans in, but there is then the risk that it might not work as well as windsor and we could lose more fans.

I personally feel the quicker this situation could be resolved would then show the club in a more positive light and that the club would be treated as a serious concern.

Unfortunately the last minuite deals and late payments of previous years has not shown the club as being a profesionaly run organisation and this has allowed the council to dismiss it as a "cowboy" outfit not worthy of discussion.

I would hope under the new management structure that this could be remidied and that the club would be in a position to show its self as a well organised body that has a great deal to offer the town of Slough and then be able to enter into meaningfull discussions with the council about finding a realistic solution to getting us back to a site in the town.

I belive that the Trusts efforts to raise the profile of the club through the local elections is one more step in showing that the club is getting its act together - now we need the senior management of the club to show a similar commitment to resolve the ground situation for next season promptly.
