Our new kit

I was under the impression that we would have a new kit for next season with a new sponsor.

 

When will this be available to order and what is the sponsor.

I think you'll find that that was meant to be "this season"

I was under the impression that we would have a new kit for the 05/06 season.

 

I was under the impression that we would have a new kit in time for Christmas of the 05/06 season.

 

I was under the impression that we would have an announcement regarding the kit in Jan/Feb 06.

 

Sadly, none of the above happened and as a result, probably cost the club a fair bit of money. The kit has been a sore point for me as the amount of queries which go through the club shop (which my wife runs successfully with limited stock items available) regarding shirt purchases when she cannot get any information from the club (surprise, surprise) infuriates the pair of us.

 

If, and it's a big if, they do get something sorted, I hope it is soon and that the shirts will be ready for our first 'home' game of next season (wherever that may be)

I wouldn't worry too much Gary, it's taken me 2 years to get ours sorted.

Yeah, but you didn't keep telling everybody that the new kit would be available with a big announcement about the new sponsor every couple of months......

Good deal you have got there as well Mal - like the idea of a home and away shirt combo deal for £50. Maybe that's something the club should look at when the new shirt is released?

Our kits sell brilliantly and with the mark up make the club a decent profit. There are three priorities for the club:

 

1) Groundshare 2)Main Sponsor 3) New Kit

 

It is vital these issues are sorted asap. I personally thought they should have taken priority over some tv deal....
