Thanks Lads

As I was on duty and work in Central London I had to travel up to the Scarborough game by train, returning on the supporters coach. Imagine my surprise when outside Kings X station I see two teenage lads in G&N PASE tracksuits. And even more astounded as I waited for the platform number when I espy Nick Burton. Then Jamie Turner, Jimmy Strouts, Jimmy Jackson, Andy Ford, in fact the entire squad and directors. Purely by chance and because of a shortage of carriages I was fortunate enough to travel up with the team.

I'd like to say thanks for the entertaining journey lads. To Paul Wilkerson especially, despite doing his college homework having time for a chat. And Stroutsy who spent almost the entire two hour journey to York trying to teach Jacko, Skins and Sarg how to play Hearts, I still don't think they've quite got the hang of it now. Thanks also to Roly Edwards and Jason Botley for somehow managing to hold up the York-Scarborough connection, because of our late running train and Bob Gunton for the offer of a lift to the ground from Scarborough station. Thanks a lot it was much appreciated.
