Memories of that cold, damp night at Homelands 18 months ago come flooding back.

 

Sounds a similar type of Grays performance-Scarborough not that bad but Grays breakaway ,pass quick and score every time, heads drop and no leadership.

 

The main point is that Scarborough play 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 with wing backs, who guess what ,got stranded in no mans land last night and Grays break through the defence so easily.

Sound familiar ?

You stop teams like grays(and most others) by holding the ball up in midfield and defending the flanks with proper full backs

 

I think we were saying before that even ,that wing backs do not suit non league as players are not good enough.

 

Unfortunately a small minority of managers fail to grasp this and pay the price, despite all their other good work

I know it's hilly around Forest Green but I didn't realise you can see all the way to Scarborough's pitch. Nevertheless thank you for your expert tactical analysis. We are most grateful.

Cracking price of 5/6 considering their recent upward form.Am glad I lumped on them. Mind you I also backed them to win 3-0 too and it was that score after 44 minutes so what chance did I have for getting that result right after 90 minutes. Mind you the scoreline of 7-2 was a bit more(obviously)than even I could envisage.

Still a winning bet nevertheless.
