And I thought ours last season was tough, as I present Witton Albions final fixtures from last Friday:

Fri 14th Apr Marine

Mon 17th Apr Farsley Celtic

Wed 19th Apr Blyth Spartans

Thu 20th Apr Ilkeston Town

Sat 22nd Apr North Ferriby United

Mon 24th Apr Gateshead

Wed 26th Apr Radcliffe Borough

Sat 29th Apr Matlock Town

I'd love to see some professionals try that

I noticed that too - pretty gruelling stuff. As well as Witton, title contenders Blyth Spartans are bang in the middle of a similar schedule - and have just won 3 games in 4 days!

Tue 11th Apr A Ossett Town Unibond Premier (0) 1 - 3 (0) 200

Fri 14th Apr A Gateshead Unibond Premier (0) 2 - 1 (1) 715

Sat 15th Apr H Radcliffe Borough Unibond Premier (0) 1 - 0 (0) 525

Mon 17th Apr H Bradford Park Avenue Unibond Premier (0) 2 - 0 (0) 658

Wed 19th Apr A Witton Albion Unibond Premier Kick-off 7.45pm

Sat 22nd Apr A Runcorn FC Halton Unibond Premier Kick-off 3.00pm

Tue 25th Apr A Matlock Town Unibond Premier Kick-off 7.45pm

Thu 27th Apr H Guiseley Unibond Premier Kick-off 7.45pm

Sat 29th Apr H Wakefield Emley Unibond Premier Kick-off 3.00pm

Ian you're right, Canvey had the same problem (albeit slightly worse I think) and I seem to remember the 'old' Hornchurch having to play twice on the same day, one at home and one away, back in the old Ryman 2 (or maybe 3)

A bit of investigation shows that Canvey in 2003/4 had 10 games between Sat 3rd April and Sat 1st May. To their credit they won 4 and drew 3 but that's not as bad as 8 in 15 days or 9 in 18 for Witton Albion or Blyth Spartans above.
