have we got any pre season frendlies planned and if so where and do we have any dates,i know its only april but our season is nearly over so we should start think about pre season,i know worthing was mentioned as a possibility down their place but do we have a date as we could arrange a coach for a bit of a jolly up

How about a friendly against Soham? Would be very interesting to see how our squad has progressed since the last encounter.

That's a good point, the pitch has to have time to recover from May onwards and it's then where the spadework is done until August to strenghten it for the coming season.

Subject to the usual Athletics shot putts and javelins etc..., I would feel that the amount of friendlies we play at home would be limited. Mind you we have to balance that against the income received from the bar etc..

Not an easy one but with the work put in by OB et al we can establish a good playing surface, just compare ours with Burnham beach, well there is no comparison. That Burnham pitch looks as though it will take yonks to get over the pounding it's had and mainly due to lack of rain in Jan, Feb, March.

seriously does anyone have any news on whether we will be playing worthing as my little sis lives down there and wants to come to match,i reckon we could at least fill 3/4 of a coach if not more
