Decisiveness needed from KP

Notwithatanding who is appointed our next manager, i think KP shold take the bull by the horns, do whatever it takes to sign up Protheroe for next season,and tell the new manager whoever it may be, that Protheoroe is contracted and very much part of the future for the next 2 seasons.

 

We need an early appointment of a manager to get the players for nex season, but signing Protheroe must be one of the keys.

Sadly I can't see it. Lee is capable of playing at Conference level, so he has no reason to stay with a team in the Ryman Premier.

but he does not want to go full-time and i do believe he has a business somewhere in Kent and he will leave Gravesend so it will be between Welling and Margate to sign him.

Wait a minute CE! We are not intending to STAY in the Ryman are we?

We have a buzz of expectation about us. That should be a bit of a carrot for a decent player. That and money of course.

From the games I have seen Lee is just an average Ryman Prem performer and as such he will carry on doing a good job for Margate.

He has one of the most cultured right feet in the Conference.

Many of his crosses to Essandoh were killers, and had top class defenders panicking.

You do not get that reutation by merely being Ryman standard.
