I think JW at Ramsgate has done really well. On a limited budget he has built a really good team.

From what ive seen Ramsgate have the basis of a team that could really do well in the Rymans premier and possibly conference south.

But Ramsgate dont have the support. If i was Jim Ward,id apply for the Margate job. And if i was Margate i would look to appoint him to the post.

I think he would do really well at Hartsdown and would bring a few good players with him.

I'm sure they would all enjoy the greater level of support Margate get.

Ramsgate have about 5 good players thats it same as us. Ramsgate will finish mid-table tops next season and the highest we will finish is 4th.

Jim is a good bloke, and has done well at Ramsgate. Congrats to them, and I wish him success.

 

However Jim is not right for Margate. We need someone with better contacts at Conf level.

 

Despite what some are saying, Ramsgate will not be able to survive in Ryman Prem with a local squad. Either they sign big time in the summer or it's straight back down.

Ed Vahid and Welford being two i cant really remember the others that could pose a threat in the Ryman prem. Some of your players will struggle in the Ryman prem especially your defence as teams like Chelmsford, Billericay, Staines, Heybridge and us on a good day will rip your defence apart.

Jim Ward has already ruled himself of coming to Margate, saying in an interview following yesterday "why would I want to go to Margate", he said he will stick with the Rams, so can't see him coming to us.

Ollie Schulz, Edd Vahid, Ben Laslett. They would only come here if JW did I think. Unless we offered them better deals than they are on now which isnt difficult lets face it.

 

I think those three could be ok in the Ryman prem.

didnt think much of Warren Schulz. If the number 9 player was the lanky player then yes he was poor and i was not the only person to say it. I was talking to a Ramsgate fan and he said that he is poor.

Just taken him out Alex as I also dont rate WS that highly. Welford couldnt cut it at Dover. I think the lanky player is Steffan Ball who is awful. Nice marking for the 1st Dover goal yesterday by S.Vahid and I think W.Schulz.

Liam Morris is only useful for his long throws and will have a hard time next season against more skilful forwards. The Ryman Premier is not an easy league to get out of (both ends).

They seem to score half of their goals from his long throws. Seems teams are a bit guilty of not doing their homework. Thats something that changes when you get higher up the pyramid FF.
