My mistake, the Windsor keeper scored but just after Hodgey scored our third on the hour.

1-0 Hodges 9mins

1-1 Warner 29mins

2-1 Harris 43mins

2-2 Wallace 48mins

3-2 Hodges 60mins

3-3 Drake 64mins (a big punt upfield and Parky fell over??)

Pretty poor game, but full of goals. Hodgey and McCleary only bright spots for us really. Going to have an awesome attack next season if we can keep them two, but changes in defence and midfield needs sorting out if we are to do anything IMO.

Agree with Chris, at the moment with Ballard and Alexis we have no centre midfield. OK todays game was poor but they dont seem to be willing to put the tackles in someone like Wilko would do. As a result the ball is simpley played over the top of them.

Ballard's not played well IMO since the Heybridge hat-trick. Seems to still not be fit enough to play central midfield and always seems shattered.

I'm an Alexis fan, and also he's upped his work rate seems to have one decent match every three games and needs to be more consistent. Having Mets back next season will help.

didn't bounce on the keepers bonce twice, he missed it and daly should have cleared it but hey ho, 3-1 down and u couldn't put windsor to bed haha. will miss it next season, but maybe a few matches, b&b cup final, FA Cup 1st round proper, who knows!

What an awful game and a crap, crap attendance.

Had an end of season feel to it from start to finish, with two teams defending very poorly. Still, at least Kieron Drake's goal gave Windsor something to smile about at last.

Slough don't look like half the side they used to be. Used to play with flair and a very entertaining style!!

Then again if 6 goals in a game isn't entertaining...!!

Good luck next season, see you in Pre season no doubt!!

I found it to be poor mostly because of the defending though. And I'd totally agree about Slough not being as good as last season, but with us losing so many key players such as the Murphys, Saulsbury and Haddow, that was unavoidable. Hopefully we can improve the squad over the summer, keeping key players (like Hodges and McCleary for a start)

Thing is though Woody, when you get no other income than gate receipts (we're sure as hell not doing any advertising or sponsorship) and raffle money, you have to adjust your playing budget accordingly. We've become a lot more sensible than from the early Deaner days and as a result the playing budget was reduced over the summer. As a result of this, we've had a very good season considering the circumstances.

well i think that if we beat harrow next week we move onto 50 points. add the league cup semi onto that and i thinks its been a pretty good season considering the restraints on the budget.

shame about today the third windsor goal should have been avoidable (im sure thats happened before to Masters), hodgey and mccleary looked good again.
