redbridge 0 - 5 ricay

Anyway enough about Chelmo.

They are a urine poor team, with a crap manager who can't change his style of play.

The fans chant his name and he was emotionless on the touch line.

Which leads me on to, why was he not serving his touchline ban.

That said if his teams are as poor as today's then leave him be.

Good luck to Ricay in the last 2 games hope you can make the play offs

Back to the Redbridge game, I will have one moan about their manager... one of the more crass moments seen this season when, with his side 5-0 down and heading for an obvious defeat, he allowed the no 4 to go back on the pitch after a long period of treatment, despite it being blatantly obvious that the boy could barely stand - he spent 10 minutes hopping about hoping the ball wouldn't come near him. What's the point. Idiot.

First half wasn't the best of spectacles but the second more than made up for it. Did the Goal Differance the world of good.

But with AFC at Hendon & Hampton at home to Maldon next Saturday you've got to fancy them both finishing the day on 72 points or more. It's been a great last few games but I think we needed AFC to drop points today.

Still, hopefully we can go out on a high against Hampton in a fortnights time.

Congrats. to Braintree. Well done for sealing it at Melbourne! Great timing!

Poole off early doors with a bad ankle injury
Collins on for Hodges a minute before he scored
Swaine on for Kerras, knee injury

The first goal was scored by Hodges, sharpen up Simes.....

I thought it was a magnificent performance from our lads..Always thought that once we could break them down we might get a few and thankfully that was the case. We kept going right to the very end and that is one lesson we can take into next season. Our effort was superb and whatever the situation let's hope we can end the league season on a high against Hampton.

I agree their manager is better suited to pub football. Sending that lad back on was one of the most dumb-arsed and disrespectful moves I've seen all season.
