Should have a clearer indication by the end of this week as I think that is when the Alliance's meeting is scheduled.

Also having another look at those set-ups I would have thought the Southern League will be the "easier" league. Not that I want to go there the travel costs are too much to absorb.

Looking through that I don't see many teams I'd feel confident we'd finish above to be honest. Maidenhead, Heybridge, Margate, Chelmsford and Bromley all have a bit of cash behind them, AFC Wimbledon will be stronger and a good title shout and the likes of Billericay, Hampton, Worthing, Staines and Walton should all be looking to go a bit better than this season. Could be very tough.

Thats why I wouldnt mind us moving into the Southern League. OK the travel costs would increase but if the club put some effort into getting sponsorship this would be covered. But obviously a tougher league would probably put us in a better position if we were to ever get promotion.

Chelmsford have confirmed the arrival of Jeff King and will sign at least 5 Canvey players, including their captain, and backroom staff. They will probably be favourites for the title next season.
