Interested to read the 'chairman's chat' yesterday when he made the statement 'so I hope that in the not too distant future our clubs can come together under the democratic control of all Enfield football fans'.

 

I recently spoke to someone 'high up' in EFC who was of the same opinion as myself. A merger would not happen as EFC has their history and so do ETFC. If the Council came on board and wanted to assist both clubs, then there could be the possibility of a ground share arrangement rather than an amagamation and it would all depend on what they offer, if indeed they offered anything at all.

 

Having been at the game yesterday, I cannot for the life of me believe that both sets of supporters would want to come together.

 

I know this matter has been 'done to death' but I really can't see it happening so maybe we should change the record and get on with developing both clubs?

I have to say well done again Brunob, for some great pics. The E's goal has all my family in the pic, except me cause i was takin a pic to the right of the goal.
