Those of you that have read my thoughts on who should be the next manager will know I would like to see this man take over. But Im a bit concerned to read that a Barnet director has told a Dover supporter that he is very likely to be on his way there in the summer. Of course this is a rumour but if he did go then I hope we dont become Walker's blues or Ward's blues. Andy Ford would be fine thank you if Hessy chooses them down there.

I do understand that Hess has aplied for the job and i have also heard that Graham Roberts has aplied for the job aswell.

I do believe that, that is the Graham Roberts as apparently he lives in the area now.

He still manages Clyde though unless you mean he has several different homes.

Thats a bit of a rollercoaster career. Interesting that he seems to get his sides playing attractive football and is able to bring players in. Has a tremendous record at this level but would need to be sure that his business interests would not affect things too much.

Looking around on the Forum it may not be Graham Roberts it may be Gary Roberts who was joint manager at Southampton and Gary Roberts now lives in Essex so it is more then likely Gary Roberts not Graham Roberts.

There is a Gary Roberts in charge at Cambridge City. If it was him he could bring Paul Booth with him.

Gary Roberts is boss at Cambridge City. Would make sense that he wants to leave with all their problems. However, I think he is a 'big budget' manager which would count against him given KP's comments.

Yes, they will be in Connie South next season. Beyond that the future is uncertain. Depends how much the fans can raise.

Their budget is likely to be a lot lower. I am with you there CE. As far as Im concerned being blinkered by thinking of local talent is a no no. Pick the best manager not just one who is local.

On Ceefax yesterday, AH states he wants to play on at Barnet for another season if asked.
