Not too surprising that Hasim is out injured still-wonder if he will make back it at all this season-hamstrings take some time.

 

Whats the word on Gradley-is he still injured, or purely out of reckoning in RT's midfield.

I have to say that i think PG can contribute alot more than Yiga,and alongside JK back to his best apparently, and Protheroe we would have a formidable midfield again.

Gradley is far too injury prone and no team can afford to carry passengers for 3/4 of the season. I hope its bye bye Gradley in the summer.

M M stop waffling on about the club savoir(in your eyes only)who has been out nearly all season.i can't remember any lightening pace that would see him making runs down the wing,thus meaning out performing Yiga.

We havent seen him play much this season. If you are going by last season then yes you do need specs.

Seen enough to know that at this level he is quality.

 

Also slightly quicker this season than last when injury did slow him down.

 

Does the simple things well, binds midfield,tackles and prevents opposition playing, and links defence to attack

i agree with MM the stats speak for them selfs you only need to look at the time when we won several games on the trot, who was in the midfield none other than PG, but as you say you cant afford to carry a player forever, in 2 seasons hes played about 2/3s of a season

At the end of the day, I tend to agree with Legend. Is the lad unlucky, or just injury prone? The only way to find out would be to give him a run out. If he had been unlucky, it would be very harsh to dump him without giving him a chance to prove himself.

Well his passing was very poor today gave the ball away a lot when we needed posession at the end.

That's complete twaddle, he lost the ball no more or no less than the other players.

And considering he had not played a competitive match for some time was remarkably composed on the ball.

Plus you fail to mention the various occasions when he used his strength and power to hustle two Invicta guys off the ball and win it for us.

 

I never fail to be totally exasperated at the lack of support shown to some of our players.

Well three people have made the same observation on here we must have been at another game,how silly of us. Its not lack of support they get praise when deserved and vice versa. I am sure they dont get as upset about it as you. Also thought Knight was inafective <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue2.gif" alt="" />

Gradley did ok today but I think we should be looking elsewhere in the summer for a midfielder. He is far too injury prone and costs too much money for a player that wont get on the pitch for several months a year. Knight was largely ineffective I agree Gringo.

Well as a regular negative poster of Gradleys form in the past I thought he was great today. There I saw it too! And I wasnt a fan on last years efforts.Today he did it for me & did it well.Agree knight not much.
