What was the match like,any good performances. Couldn't make it working too hard seems I missed a good drubbing, was there a cup presentation?

No cup presentation unfortunately. A decent game and Canvey could have scored double figures. Taity was quality and Steve Corbell scored his three penalties with real calmness and composure.

 

Lee Jay was quality. Like the look of young Charlie Parker. Still very raw but has the makings of a quality player.

Thanks for that yellow. Who is Steve Corbell, is he a young player, sounds promising.How did Dolan do and the other first team players. You say Taity did well, hope to see him on Saturday.

I would liked to have seen more of Tait this year, lets hope he gets a game on Saturday.

In the reserve games I have seen this season I have thought Lee Jay was quality. We had him on the bench on 5 or 6 occasions this season and not once did he get a chance. Be nice if he could be given his debut for at least part of a game in either the Exeter or Halifax matches.

 

Hopefully he might be one who will still be with Canvey next season.

Very promising from what I've seen of him. Admittedly that was a season or two ago, so hopefully he's progressed further since.

Corbell plays midfield and looks a decent player. Joe Dolan played well as did Greggors and Dave McGhee.

I have seen several reserve games this season however and Lee Jay has looked very useful in most.
