A good win

A good win yesterday, we didn't play our best, but still won comfortably, true the opposition were poor, and we could easily have won 7-0, their keeper kept us out at least 3 times. With Hakki, Gilkes, Winston and Daly (IMO our best players) not playing it does show we can beat any team if we want to, but half the time, we don't play to our potential, so to win 4-0 and not play great for the 90 mins is very pleasing. I hope this is the start of a nice little unbeaten run, with Tilbury, Wembley, Hertford and Berkhamsted our next 4 games, these are the matches we have to be winning, well heres hoping we will!

you do get the feeling that Slough will be very strong if at full strength. I believe we have (along with Hakki) maybe the best midfield in the league - Gilkes, B Bubb, A Bubb, Spencer, Metcalfe, and any others I haven't mentioned. Our defence is also looking great. I just hope Deaner returns to the bench when Winston and Hale return as I still don't think he's good enough.
