Take another look at the video of the goal - you can just see Billy Drake starting his run from about ten yards outside of his own penalty area.

Rob - do you have the video running a second or so earlier, when BD disposseses the number seven and starts it all off?

>>You must have the wrong footage on here;the NLP says we scored by way of a goalmouth scramble.

I assume that NLP stands for Not a Lot of Publicity - for once they are correct though.

Yes, it was a goalmouth scramble, but at the other end of the field.

Barkingside were awarded a throw in - Premyslaw Wielewski took a long throw and it was only half cleared, and the ball fell to Dominic Harkins, who turned quickly are prepared to shoot.

Billy Drake quickly nipped in a took the ball away, and played it out to the left half position - Paul Golby and Billy Holland exchanged passes and Paul then flighted the ball over to Lee Sontag on the left wing.

Lee made ground and cut in, then played the ball low across goal.

In the meantime Billy Drake had run from just outside his own area, and carried on, and was right on cue to hammer the ball into the roof of the net.

The NLP is welcome to use this description if it wants to.
